A: The ThinkPad Pro Dock is compatible with the following 65W and 90W ThinkPad models: L540, L560, P50s, T440p, T460p, T540p, T550, T560, T570, W550s, X240 and X250. It’s also compatible with the following dual-core ThinkPad models with integrated graphics: L440, L450, L460, T440, T440s, T450, T450s, T460, T460p, T460s and X260. This dock is NOT recommended if the system AC adapter is 170W.

Q: Will the ThinkPad Pro Dock support ThinkPad models with quad-core processors?
A: No, this ThinkPad docking station does not support laptops with quad-core processors (see the list of supported models in the answer to the previous question). If this dock does not support your device, try the ThinkPad Ultra Dock 170W.

Q: Does this ThinkPad docking station have an HDMI port?
A: No, the Pro Dock does not include an HDMI port. However, the Lenovo ThinkPad Ultra Dock does have an HDMI port.

Q: What are the differences between the Basic Dock, Pro Dock and Ultra Dock?
A: Lenovo ThinkPad Basic Dock: 1 USB 3.0 port, 2 USB 2.0 ports and 1 VGA port.
Lenovo ThinkPad Pro Dock (this model): 3 USB 3.0 ports, 3 USB 2.0 ports, 2 active video ports (DP/DVI and VGA (DP and DVI cannot be used at the same time)) and audio port support.
