August 2019 Release Notes: Menu, Quote Search Updates

Quote search enhancement and updates


We’ve added the ability search for quotes by quote name. From the Quote History menu, you can now search by Quote Number, Quote Name or Reference Number.

We’ve also fixed a bug that occurred when users edited a quote. The base quote will no longer be added to your cart after editing a quote, resolving issues when converting a quote to an order. 

Additionally, we redesigned the order and quote confirmation emails. 

Enhanced product recommendations


To help you find the types of products you’re looking for, we’ve improved our product recommendations feature. Your searches on insight.com will now be evaluated to show relevant products.

We’ve redesigned and streamlined the global header to make it easier to find products, resources and information about our solutions. Explore the menus to learn more about what we do, our client stories, content and resources, ways to connect with us and shopping opportunities using only a couple of clicks. Custom header permissions will continue to have the same rules applied.

Overall improvements and remediation


As with every release, we’ve made it easier to use our site by:

  • Improving product detail page load times
  • Supporting search through the browser search bar for some users
  • Fixing an issue where clients received a Ratings & Reviews email reminder for incomplete orders
